Terms of Service

By signing in to vibecheck you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). vibecheck is operated by IgnisTech ("we", "us"). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

vibecheck is an automated security scanner for GitHub repositories. It clones your repositories, runs static analysis tools (Gitleaks, Semgrep, njsscan, and custom checks), and uses an AI model to normalise and explain the findings.

vibecheck is a best-effort scanning tool, not a security audit or penetration test. It identifies common vulnerability patterns but cannot guarantee detection of all security issues. Scan results should be reviewed by a qualified developer or security professional before acting on them.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATION THAT SCAN RESULTS ARE COMPLETE, ACCURATE, OR FREE OF FALSE POSITIVES OR FALSE NEGATIVES. VIBECHECK IS A SUPPLEMENTARY TOOL — DO NOT RELY ON IT AS YOUR SOLE SECURITY MEASURE.

Specifically: we do not warrant that vibecheck will detect every vulnerability in your code, that clean scan results mean your application is secure, or that suggested fixes will resolve the underlying issue without introducing new problems.

You may use vibecheck only to scan repositories you own or have explicit authorisation to scan. You must not use vibecheck to:

• ·Scan repositories belonging to others without their permission
• ·Attempt to circumvent GitHub's rate limits or terms of service
• ·Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the scanning rules or AI prompts
• ·Resell, sublicense, or offer vibecheck as a service to third parties without our consent
• ·Use the service in any way that violates applicable law

vibecheck requires read access to your GitHub repositories via OAuth. You are responsible for the GitHub account you connect and for any repositories you choose to scan. You can revoke vibecheck's GitHub access at any time via your GitHub account settings (Settings → Applications → Authorized OAuth Apps).

Revoking GitHub access will prevent future scans but will not delete your account or historical scan data. To delete your account and data, contact us at privacy.vibecheck.it@outlook.com.

vibecheck offers three tiers:

• ·Free — limited to 2 repositories, results visible for 7 days
• ·Solo — up to 5 repositories, full history
• ·Indie Stack — up to 20 repositories, full history

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are displayed at checkout and may change with 30 days' notice. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date via the billing portal in your dashboard.

Refunds. We offer a 7-day refund for first-time subscribers who request one in writing within 7 days of the initial charge. Contact privacy.vibecheck.it@outlook.com. Subsequent renewals are non-refundable.

Your code is yours. vibecheck does not claim any intellectual property rights over the repositories you scan or the findings generated from them.

The vibecheck platform, scanning rules, and AI configurations are owned by IgnisTech. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without our written consent.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IGNITECH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE VIBECHECK, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify and hold IgnisTech harmless from any claim, loss, or demand (including legal fees) arising from: your use of vibecheck, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights including GitHub's terms of service.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or terminate the service at any time with or without notice for maintenance, security reasons, or business decisions. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will provide at least 30 days' notice where practicable and offer pro-rata refunds for prepaid periods.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you violate these Terms. You may stop using vibecheck and request account deletion at any time by contacting us. Sections covering limitation of liability, intellectual property, and indemnification survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date above. Continued use of vibecheck after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
